The Mad Aquamancer

The Drowning Rock. Rumour is, this desolate isle was home to a mad aquamancer, obsessed with attaining immortality through elemental arcana.

From atop their tower, the aquamancer stoked a terrible storm that churned the waves and flooded the coast. Then the storm suddenly vanished, and all signs of the aquamancer with it. Even after many years of quietude, locals maintain that the isle is a cursed place and refuse to set foot there. 

Now, a new storm grows daily around the isle and old salts from nearby Fort Merryweather swear a twisted face looms in the clouds. If nothing is done the storm will spill out, drowning the land...

The tower hosts hostiles from the elemental planes, drowned sailors cursed in undeath, unpleasant traps, and the remains of the mad aquamancer. The local authority is offering a substantial reward to anyone who will brave the isle and abate the storm. Accolades, gold, and the opportunity to seize forgotten knowledge await!

The Mad Aquamancer is a system-agnostic pamphlet dungeon suitable for lower-level play in the TTRPG system of your choice. The pamphlet can be printed on a single Letter sheet and the download package includes folding instructions, a player-facing map, and a larger version of the cover illustration.
